Overall a very nice app, it does what you need and tells you who has to pay who in a very simple and clear manner, nice and well designed the general graphic too. Minor bugs need to be fixed, like portrait/landscape suggestions pop-up, and translations should be included too.

Good app, nice idea, just one small thing: i dont have a contact for myself in my address book! I had to add one for use this app!!

After the last iOS update it is not working anymore. It does not start after tapping. It crashes every time. Please try to solve this problem. Im gonna lose all my data :(

Super app, very user-friendly and useful, although not very intuitive: you have to be familiar with the "clearing" concept to fully understand its philosophy. It crashes on start in iPhone 4 iOS 7.0, although in description it is compliant.

After you save a transaction, you cannot change or delete it! This happens with iPhone 6, 6s, 7 and 7+!

When I found this app I immediately felt in love for it. Used in many trips with friends and it seemed to work, however after a while it starts freezing and being impossible to edit past expenses. I cant get to click the save button after editing amounts and it makes impossible to trust it and use it for many expenses. I tried deleting and downloading again, thought it was a problem with my phone, but tried again in my new one and I face he same issues. It was a big disappointment and very frustrating.

I was having trouble keeping track of money between my roommates and I and this app does almost everything I need it to do! I did notice one bug when I had the Expenses menu down and tried to add a New Expense, there would be an odd numerical error when entering the Amount. This did not happen all of the time though. Something on my wish list would be a way to set priorities on certain Expenses for when they need to be paid off. Anyway, thanks for the app!

Exactly what I need for keeping track of money between my friends during holidays!!! And I am sure it will do the job for other situations like with my new roommates. Do NOT mistake, it is not a personal expense tracker like Ive read in other reviews, it aims to track group expenses to provide at the end a way to balance cash between the participants. This is its job, and it does it perfectly. I highly recommend!

This app has all the features you need when tracking spending for a group. You can enter any number of "friends", select who paid, who owed on the item and what their shares were. (For instance if you paid for a cabin rental for 3 nights, but some people only stayed for 2 of the nights.) In the end it sorts it all out and creates a scheme for everyone to pay what they owe and distribute amongst those that are owed... who owes what to whom. The big problem though was that if I left the app and then re-entered it, the decimal places on the amounts got messed up and I could no longer enter amounts. Everything had to be entered at one time at the end of the trip and calculated immediately. Which still ended up being faster than using excel or paper and a calculator.

I currently use the Trip Splitter app and decided to test this one against it. Friendcash has pretty quick item entry but Trip Splitter was still faster. Friendcash also cant do uneven splits, which happens a surprising amount of times. I found that once I got a lot of expenses, it became a pretty confusing list. I recommend paying the dollar more and going with Trip Splitter.

The new updates are a good start, still needs a bit of improvement...

Love it! My apartment mates and I use it all the time. Its great to be able to pick for each item who owes what(and change percentage). It also was really helpful having different currency options in a recent trip to Mexico!

I actually paid to use this half-functional app with a very user unfriendly interface. And now its free and showing me ads! I would like my refund please.

Used it to split expenses in Europe for a week with 8 ppl. It did everything I needed except multiple currencies, but that wasnt a big deal. Awesome app!

Does exactly what I want. Works smoothly in iOS 5. I can divide my shared expenses unevenly and annotate my credits so as to remember. Its true that some features have to be paid separately, but I really didnt need them at all. I think the email summaries will be useful and I may purchase them in a near future, still, adding .99 to the app price isnt that expensive.

This was the perfect tool for a recent trip I took with 6 friends- saved us so much time in tallying up costs! Great interface. Thanks!

This is one if the prettiest apps I have seen! And its very thoughtful. For example, it lets you pick members from your address book. But once you have chosen them, when you create a new group, it remembers who youd chosen before, rather than having to show you the whole address book again right away. This is a very clever, useful, and thoughtful app. I checked out approximately 10 of this kind, and tried several, and I like this one the best.
